It has been nearly a year since I started my ruby journey where I learned the basics, testing frameworks like capybara and watir and did some initial web scraping projects. then I made by hands dirty in sinatra framework to learn web programming, then resque and finally mongodb. I started to learn various other technologies like coffeescript, emberjs and nodejs. But my current area of interest has bought me down to basics where I am learning how to build a full application stack using sinatra, padrino, mongodb, redis and clockwork.
Having said that still there is a huge gap when my knowledge of rails is concerned. To understand the rails infrastructure and really explore the rack infrastructure and test driven programming I have started learning rails today. Hope in future I will be able to provide some insight what I am doing with rails. For now keeping fingers crossed.
